Hot Fishing Action: Early Starts and Great Catches!
July 15, 2024The fishing has been on fire, and so has the heat! We hit the water between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, and we’ve had the first fish in the boat within 10-20 minutes of reaching our first spot. The mornings have been beautiful, but the heat comes on quickly. There have been a few windy days and passing storms, but nothing has stopped the fish from biting. We’ve consistently hit our limits of walleye and have been off the water by 11:45 AM or 1:00 PM, sometimes even sooner if the fish are particularly cooperative. 😂😀We’ve had a lot of laughs over the past few days, with friendly competitions about who would catch the first fish and who would end up the wettest by the end of the day. We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting some first-time fishermen and kids who had never fished or been on a boat before this past week. Creating those memories is always special. We wrapped up our days by beating the heat and the winds with a relaxing fish fry for dinner. Yesterday’s catch was perfect for the fish fry! 🎣Due to a schedule change, we have some dates available at the end of July and August. Give us a call, and we can help you plan a fun, relaxing fishing trip where you can catch some great fish. 🎣
